Part of a series of photographs taken by Don Maclean at a logging camp at the Quatam River in Ramsey Arm, BC. The camp was likely one of the stops on his patrol for the Columbia Coast Mission.
Photograph shows a man and a woman, both holding a fish, standing in one of the row boats from the Cortes Lodge. Another man on shore is also holding a fish, while a man behind him (likely Jack Summers) pulls the boat in.

Photograph titled "The second "Columbia" tied up to a floating logging camp in the beautiful Knight Inlet country. When it's rough enough you can be seasick right in your own livig-room." Note: This photograph appears to be the source of the painting on the cover of "God's Little Ships" by Michael Hadley (Harbour Publishing, 1995). It was probably printed in "The Log".
