Wilfred and Jean Manson's home at Stag Bay, Hernando Island. The house is under construction with scaffolding still up, but is nearing completion. The old logging pier can be seen in the background to the left and closer, one of the sheds belonging to the logging camp.

May traces her family history and then talks about her childhood on Cortes and Hernando Islands; meeting and marrying Elmer; living in a float house at logging camps in Loughborough Inlet, Phillips Arm and Von Donop Inlet; and moving the house to Hague Lake in 1952. The medical and dental clinic established by Boas was held twice a month. Every second Friday, Dr. Bathurst Hall and Dr. Phillip Margetts travelled from Campbell River to Heriot Bay by water and land taxi, and were ferried from there to Whaletown in the "Rendezvous".
